Q: If I need a doctor, what should I do?
A: Call your front desk or call us direct from your room at 743-4200. You must provide your name, hotel, room number, check out date and why you need a doctor.

Q: When will I be seen? Is there a long wait?
A: You will be seen in the order in which your call was received. Unless it is an emergency, you will be seen by appointment. In cases of emergencies you will be refered to the hospital emergency room via 911.

Q: What if I just go to the local emergency room?
A: To be seen can take up to a few hours if they're busy. The taxi round trip can cost you between $16-40 and if you need to go to the pharmacy the taxi will be more. There is also the possiblity that after all the waiting you might be diverted to us anyway if it's not "urgent".

Q: How much will it cost?
A: We have two fees. A room consultation is USD 275.00 and includes medications and delivery. A phone consultation is USD 100.00 and includes the phone consultation, medication and delivery.

Q: How do I pay and do you accept insurance?
A: Unfortunately we don't accept foreign medical insurance. We do accept ASSIST-CARD International and EUROPE ASSIST clients. All other invoices are settled cash or you can go to our billing page and pay with a credit card. Please be advised that there is a 5% online processing fee.

Q: Can I get an invoice for back home?
A: Yes. We will provide you with a detailed invoice. This invoice you can take back home for any insurance claims.

Q: How do I know if I need a phone consult or physician consult?
A: Prescription refills, forgotten or lost medications, can be done by phone. We triage all calls and based on the nature of the call you can be advised if it's a phone or room consultation.

Q: Do I have to go to a clinic?
A: No. We come to your hotel room. We bring your medications to you.

Q: Can't I just talk to someone over the phone?
A: We have a service or duty phone, which is answered by our staff. You will be informed of the charges and you can decide if you want to proceed with the call.

Q: What if I have two or more family members sick?
A: Like any other medical clinic EMCARE charges per patient.
